Ben Adams Architects

London-based Ben Adams Architects was set up in 2010. Led by Ben Adams and Julia Hamson, the 15-strong team combines research with building projects. Rather than specialise, their varied approach has led to a range of projects including the offices for architects Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and Wilkinson Eyre, the London headquarters (including gallery and auction house) for auctioneers Philips de Pury, private homes in both countryside and city, as well as the reworking and refurbishment of existing premises including Victory House on London’s Tottenham Court Road for developer Derwent London. The studio has also created a concrete door handle shortlisted for the Allgood Handle competition ‘Can You Handle It’, a Panton Chair celebrating Vitra’s 50th anniversary and a honeycombed structural glass paving system developed with Cambridge University.
