Bodleian Library

The Bodleian Library is currently undergoing dramatic change with the redevelopment of the new Weston Library by Wilkinson Eyre Architects. Caro Communications has been instrumental in the development, management and promotion of a competition to design a new chair for the new library. The competition afforded the best of British design and manufacture a rare opportunity to compete against one another. Following a rigorous judging process, a three-legged oak chair designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby with manufacturer Isokon Plus was judged as the winner. This is now installed in the newly refurbished Weston Library in 2014, which will have a formal launch in 2015.
