Bute Fabrics

Founded on the Isle of Bute, near Glasgow, Bute Fabrics is a contemporary textile manufacturer. Caro Communications worked to relaunch the brand in 1998 with a new identity and ranges designed by now celebrated designers including Jasper Morrison, Tom Dixon and Terence Woodgate. Bute has an excellent pedigree and broad experience of working with architects and designers to create bespoke textiles suited to seating and other fabric applications in diverse projects from airports and auditoria to restaurants and offices. Notable installations include the seating of the Royal Festival Hall in collaboration with Allies and Morrison and the Queen’s Galleries at Buckingham Palace and the Palace of Holyrood, where the walls are clad in a Bute fabric.
