Canary Wharf Public Arts Programme
Caro Communications worked with the Canary Wharf Group and curator Theresa Bergne from 2000 to 2006 promoting the public arts programme of the estate. The challenge was to create events to attract people to attend a non-central London location with what were then very limited transport facilities. Working with the client and artists Caro Communications created events targeting opinion formers and journalists who attended briefings and openings. A small selection of the many artists working in diverse media include Danny Lane, Alexander Beleshchenko and Antoni Malinowski. A highlight at Canary Wharf was the jaw-dropping artwork by Bridget Riley suspended through 16 floors of the atrium at Foster and Partners Citigroup headquarters.
