Design for London

London Open City was an exhibition at Somerset House in 2008 curated by Design for London. It offered different perspectives on the capital and suggested an approach to unlocking the potential of London’s public spaces and streets. The exhibition focused on the forces that have shaped London’s public realm and asked how we can make our city easier – and more enjoyable – to use. Design for London collaborated with artists, writers and photographers to engage Londoners with their city and to explore different perceptions of beauty in London’s public realm.
