Founded in 1997 by Tom Lloyd and Luke Pearson, PearsonLloyd is a London-based design studio that works across various disciplines including workplace, transport, healthcare and urban environments. The studio has a strong reputation within the healthcare sector, having recently designed a pioneering project to reduce violence and aggression in accident and emergency departments. This is typical of their approach to identify and reflect the shifting patterns of behaviour in our contemporary life, as well as their belief in embracing the restrictions imposed by a brief. Both designers were awarded Royal Designers for Industry by The Royal Society of Arts in 2008, and in 2012 were named in the top 50 designers ‘Shaping the Future’ by Fast-Co Magazine in New York.
