SimpsonHaugh and Partners
Founded by Rachel Haugh and Ian Simpson in 1987, SimpsonHaugh and Partners has compiled an impressive portfolio of award-winning projects. The practice was founded upon a shared belief in the power of high quality design to lead the regeneration of post-industrial cities and initiate new contemporary architectural identities. The themes of urban renewal, sustainability and design ambition unite a diverse range of projects and emerging typologies such as public galleries, transport interchanges and high density living.
The practice has offices in London and Manchester and is developing a wide range of national and international projects to sit alongside built work including Urbis, No. 1 Deansgate, the Beetham Hilton Tower and Manchester Town Hall Extension. It is currently working on a range of new build projects. The residential portfolio includes Phase 1 of Battersea Power Station and the two beautiful towers at One Blackfriars and Dollar Bay, all in London. Commercial projects include One Spinningfields and 2 St Peter’s Square, both in Manchester. While cultural projects include a 2,000 seat concert hall and conference centre in Antwerp, Belgium. All of the above projects are currently on site with completion due within the next three years.
