Lema unveils new collaboration and collections for London Design Festival

Following the successful opening of its flagship showroom on the King’s Road in 2015, Lema will unveil its partnership with wood-finishes specialist ALPI this month, adding a further dimension to the brand’s offer.

Together will ALPI, Lema will present a special version of its iconic T030 designed by Piero Lissoni, with wood finishes designed by Lissoni for ALPI. The collaboration embodies Lema’s ability to customise products to suit the individual needs of the customer, and adds further finishes to its already vast catalogue.

Founded in 1919 by Pietro Alpi, ALPI has remained a family run business throughout three generations, and was the first company in the world to industrialise the production process of composite wood. With humble beginnings as a carpentry workshop, ALPI has grown into Italy’s leading manufacturer of exquisite composite wood finishes.

Alongside the new T030, Lema will also be showcasing further 2016 collections by internationally renowned designers including Roberto Lazzaeroni, Christophe Pillet and Francesco Rota.
