The Italian design company Salvatori, renowned for its innovative transformation of natural stone, has opened the doors to its first London showroom (26 Wigmore Street, London, W1U 2RL). Housed in a stunning listed building on the corner of Wigmore and Wimpole Streets in the heart of the West End, it becomes the company’s fourth dedicated showroom, joining Milan, Zurich and Sydney.

Situated over two floors, the space is a celebration of Best of Italy with the interior design a collaboration between Piero Lissoni and Elisa Ossino. The character of the downstairs area with its fascinating corners and niches sets the scene perfectly for inspirational sets showcasing the three Salvatori worlds: Walls & Floors, Bathroom and Home Collection.

The opening of a dedicated London showroom marks a significant step in the company’s growth, and will be an important hub for UK-based architects and designers.

“We have been present in the UK through our distributors for many years, however with London being at the heart of so many fantastic global projects, we believe it is the right time to have a dedicated showroom. This means we will be in a position to offer our partners a fully integrated service right from the beginning of a project through the consultation phase and, where necessary, through to implementation,” explains CEO Gabriele Salvatori.
