Earlier this month some of the world’s most influential architects gathered in London to mark RIBA’s first International Week, and debate the future of our cities. Speakers on the day included Serpentine Pavilion designer Francis Kéré, British giants Amanda Levete and Sir David Chipperfield, New York architect Elizabeth Diller responsible for the High Line, radical Odile Decq and fast-rising global talent Ma Yansong. A strong message came out of the event that architects must lead the way, and work with city leaders to pursue progressive social, economic, and political agendas. Dezeen live streamed the key debates, which can be watched back here.
