Design Mumbai Exchange returns for 2025
Following last year’s successful debut of India’s international contemporary design show Design Mumbai, the 2025 edition promises a digest of global and local design stories, via a highly curated exhibitor line-up and the unmissable Design Mumbai Exchange talks programme.
Design Mumbai Exchange will involve a programme of lectures, talks, debates, discussions and film screenings, curated by Caro Communications in collaboration with local partners. This year’s edition will once again provide a platform for a truly global exchange of ideas and knowledge within the creative sphere.
Experts and champions from both Indian and international practices in architecture, product and interior design, infrastructure, and urban development will come together to explore the pioneering ideas and key trends shaping how we live, work and play. Topics will include the country’s burgeoning green infrastructure, a rising wave of Indian minimalism, contextual approaches to hospitality, wellness that goes beyond the mood board, and the significance of design collections and curation in a digital age.
This year’s line-up includes Wallmakers principal Vinu Daniel, acclaimed interior designer and heritage expert Sunita Kohli, educator, curator and Open City chief Manijeh Verghese, London-based architects and innovators Anna Liu and Mike Tonkin, Madrid-based designers and artists Lucas Muñoz Muñoz and Juan Gerstl, Studio Saar’s managing director Ananya Singhal, CEO of the Australian Institute of Architects Cameron Bruhn, Dezeen’s Tom Ravenscroft, and STIRworld’s Samta Nadeem.
The second edition of Design Mumbai takes place 26-29 November – find out more.
