Exciting opportunities at Caro Communications mean we are on the look out for an Account Director to focus on strategy and business development while overseeing delivery, quality and client care. Exemplary knowledge of the design industry and excellent media contacts are of course essential, as is a proven track record of driving best practice and building and nurturing positive long-term relationships with clients, colleagues and media contacts.

This is a senior level opportunity to shape strategic direction, nurture and advise industry networks and forge relationships with thought leaders while providing leadership and mentoring to an energetic and dedicated in-house team.

We’re looking for an exceptional candidate to devise and drive ambitious and intelligent media and campaign strategies for our clients while ensuring that strategic goals are delivered in a robust, timely and effective manner.

As well as representing Caro and our clients at events, launches and networking evenings, the role will also involve working closely with our Directors and Account Directors across our sectors and services to design and implement a client care programme and to develop client feedback protocols and measurement and quality control mechanisms across our teams.

A minimum of five years agency or in-house experience is required.

We’re looking for a team player with a proactive approach, a strong interest in design, and the ability to deal confidently with colleagues, clients and journalists at all levels.

You must be self-motivated and dedicated with proven account management experience of at least three years, preferably within an agency role involving architecture or a related discipline, or with equivalent in-house experience. Excellent media contacts, writing and time management skills are vital, as is an understanding of strategic planning and PR.

This role involves developing and delivering creative media campaigns, and we’re looking for a candidate with demonstrable ability to build strong relationships with key media to sell-in news stories, profiles and features, whilst also being comfortable with event management and networking.
