University of Brighton, School of Architecture & Design

The University of Brighton embraces individuality and encourages its students to be curious and to see where this can lead.

Headed by internationally-renowned architect Professor Robert Mull, and with a teaching staff that includes award-winning practitioners, the School of Architecture & Design takes a progressive, design-led, hands-on and collaborative approach. Themed vertical studios encourage enquiry, preparing students for professional practice. An extensive programme of visiting architects, designers and researchers and field trips, placements and site visits bring subject specialisms vibrantly to life.

Students are enabled to develop their own voice alongside the skills needed to take an idea to a finished project by working together on live briefs and projects with communities in the local area and beyond.

Some of the key recent initiatives for which Caro Communications has provided support include Waste Zone, a series of talks debating waste solutions and opportunities at Ecobuild; the launch of the School of Architecture & Design End of Year Show at Hastings Pier; and the implementation of a bespoke social media and digital communications strategy.
