Leading German bathroom and kitchen manufacturer, Dornbracht Group, announces its participation in this year’s ARCHITECT@WORK – the UK event for the architectural community – taking place at Olympia in Kensington, London, on 27th and 28th January 2016.

Dornbracht will showcase its newest fitting, the CL.1 series, at Stand 85. CL.1 will be displayed In the single-lever basin mixer and three hole basin mixer which combine straight lines and soft curves, conveying an advanced design language. The bathroom fitting is dynamic, animated and elegant, and features textured handles for a more personalised bathroom design. The CL.1 innovative flow pattern boasts extremely efficient water consumption, with a sprayface that gently immerses the user’s hands in 40 soft, individual jets of water; with a flow rate of just 3.9 litres per minute, it is suited to a more sustainable lifestyle.

The series is available in plated finishes, polished chrome and platinum matt, and includes a wide range of fittings and accessories for the washbasin, shower, bath and bidet. It can also be combined with products from other series, in order to meet individual needs and requirements. The arrangement of outlets and controls can also be customised, adding to the possibilities for a more personal and individual design.

Dornbracht sister brand Alape will display four of the brand’s A Form basins at Stand 87, to illustrate the range of installation methods for its signature glassed steel basins. The products will demonstrate the versatility of this premium material, featured as undermount, flush-mounted, built-on and sit-on installations.

Alape representatives will also host a RIBA CPD during ARCHITECT@WORK. Entitled ‘Glassed Titanium Steel within the Bathroom’, the CPD takes place on Wednesday 27th January at 13.40 – 14.20 in the seminar room. The presentation will provide in depth information of glassed titanium steel, explaining how the composite material can be used to great effect in the bathroom, and how it can enhance many different architectural styles.
