Retailer Heal’s promises a busy LDF

Heal’s isn’t resting on its laurels during the design festival. Its flagship store on Tottenham Court Road will launch the exclusive collaborative furniture project TOG, as well as Ambrose, a new home and furniture collection.

TOG, featuring international designers including Philippe Starck (who is opening 100% Design, and in conversation with Wallpaper editor in chief Tony Chambers at 11am on Wednesday 17 September at the show), will be part of the unveiling of the store’s designer furniture floor. The brand aims to create a collaborative network between its designers and customers with each TOG product – from tables to bar stools and shelving units – able to be customised, with buyers able to select a standard piece or choose from a range of colour and form options.

Ambrose’s in-store launch follows its online launch this spring. In line with its founding ethos – small spaces, smart living – it offers intelligently designed furniture and accessories. Supported by Heal’s creative director Carmel Allen, Ambrose’s design consultant Sir Kenneth Grange has worked closely with brand designer David Steiner and a selection of UK based designers to create exclusive ranges. In addition, Ambrose offers an array of UK exclusive designs from some of the world’s best contemporary brands. All products will be launched on 17 September from 6-9pm.
