Christmas at Mud Australia
‘Tis the season for Christmas shopping and there is no finer place to buy for design fans than the beautiful new Mud Australia store, recently opened on London’s Upper Street.
The store, designed by Melbourne-based studio DesignOffice, is the sustainable ceramics brand’s second site in London and is home to its collection of 90 silhouettes – a treasure trove of hand-crafted porcelain tableware, serving pieces and lighting that is available in 19 sunny colours to lift the spirits on even the greyest winter afternoon.
Caro has supported Mud throughout 2024 to raise its profile in the UK and Europe, with a campaign to generate media coverage for its products and people, provide strategic advice about the UK retail landscape, and build a community around the new store.
It is a journey that has taken us from a sell-out talk at Craft Week on Mindful Manufacturing, to a collaboration with Ark Journal and chef Frederik Bille Brahe at 3 Days of Design in Copenhagen, to supporting &Tradition to create a VIP culinary experience in celebration the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation at the Barbican, and culminating in the celebration of the brand’s 30th anniversary with champagne and cake at the newest store in Islington.
