In a new archiboo series of talks looking at different forms of practice, developer and Creative Director of Solidspace, Roger Zogolovitch, will argue that architects need to harness their inner entrepreneur if they want to grow a successful business.
Zogolovitch will urge architects to throw off the widely held distrust they have of being seen as “commercial” as this mind-set has serious consequences for the profession, and for the business aims of any practice.
Instead, he believes that architects need to put as much emphasis on sales and marketing as design, and should not be afraid of “getting their hands dirty” by expanding into other areas like property development.
Roger will be joined by his son Gus Zogolovitch, an entrepreneur who will explain his on-going mission to disrupt the finance and property industries, and his experience of crowd funding, which he says could help architects to become small developers.
