Independent design shop Harry C.J. Wix stands as a part of that story in the heart of Woodbridge at 69 Thoroughfare. Once home to a master tailor of the same name, the Grade II listed building has been carefully restored and reimagined to serve a discerning clientele of local design aficionados.
Harry C.J. Wix opened in November 2025 as a contemporary interiors and design destination. together a curated collection of furniture, lighting, ceramics, textiles and books from leading names in British and European design and contemporary craft alongside emerging independent makers. The shop launched with a considered mix of brands including Isokon, the Lucienne & Robin Day Foundation, Case Furniture, SCP and Tiipoi, and the collection has grown to include globally recognised names such as HAY, Ally Capellino, David Mellor and many more.
More than a retail destination, Harry C.J. Wix hosts design talks, private views, book and product launches, creating space for conversation and exchange within the local community and the wider art, architecture and design industries. This reinforces the ambition for the shop to become one of Suffolk’s leading destinations for contemporary design.
