Returning to the City of London for 2022, the award-winning annual outdoor exhibition Sculpture in the City uses the urban realm as a rotating gallery space.
Since its inception in 2011, Sculpture in the City has featured works by over 100 artists, including Anish Kapoor, Yayoi Kusama and Tracey Emin. The artworks are situated in locations across the Square Mile, adjacent to architectural landmarks like the Gherkin, the Cheesegrater and Lloyds of London.
This year a new commission at Aldgate Square joins the roster, featuring a site-specific piece by artist Jocelyn McGregor. In the autumn education workshops will recommence with artists, architects, and partner companies, after a two year-hiatus.
Working with the City of London Corporation and Lacuna Projects, Caro is managing press and social media, finding creative new ways to engage with existing audiences and build new ones.
