As the UK finally starts warming up for the summer, students across the country are gearing up for graduation ceremonies, parties and for creative graduates: the fabled degree show. Every year London hosts major graduate exhibitions such as Graduate Fashion Week, Free Range and New Designers, all focused on celebrating the fruition of their studies. As well as these larger combined shows, university focused exhibitions at campuses around London will be putting on exhibitions of their graduates’ work.
The two-part Summer Shows at The Cass exhibit students’ work across the Faculty from all levels. An extraordinary range of work can be seen from Fashion and Animation, Musical Instruments and Furniture, to Photography, Architecture and live projects in London and around the world.
The first of the annual Cass Summer Shows – the Art and Design exhibition – presents students’ work from Fine Art, Film, Interiors, 3D and Music and Visual Communications (10 June – 18 June). There will be a private view on the 9 June, closely followed by the second instalment focusing on Architecture (24 June – 2 July) which opens with a private view on 23 June.
