Inspired by its installation at CasaVitra during Milan Design Week 2016, Vitra presents the ‘Colour Lounge’ to celebrate colour and textiles as part of this year’s Clerkenwell Design Week (24–26 May 2016). The event is also to coincide with the UK preview of the newly launched Sofa Modular Sofa and Occasional Lounge Chair by Jasper Morrison, which will be showcased alongside Vitra’s latest collections including the Wooden Side Tables by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Polder Sofa by Hella Jongerius and Hack Workstation by Konstantin Grcic.
During the three-day festival, the Vitra Clerkenwell showroom will be transformed into different colour zones where visitors can meet, read, relax, refresh or connect amongst classic, contemporary and new designs from the Vitra collection.
RELAX in the new Soft Modular Sofa by Jasper Morrison in the green zone or the Polder Sofa by Hella Jongerius in the yellow zone; CONNECT at the new HACK Workstation by Konstantin Grcic in the light zone, or climb up onto the classic Living Tower by Verner Panton in the sumptuous red zone.
Whether it be red, green, light or dark, Vitra enables visitors to select their colour and immerse themselves in the full ‘colour’ experience. Free fresh coffee – made by FreshGround’s in-house barista – will also be offered to showroom visitors daily during the festival.
