Witherford Watson Mann exhibition opens at the Soane Museum

Witherford Watson Mann Architects has joined forces with Sir John Soane’s Museum to produce a pop-up exhibition taking an in-depth look at the practice’s Stirling Prize-winning project, Astley Castle. The exhibition examines the role of imagination in transforming ruins – whether a castle or a city in need of regeneration – and features some of the exquisite drawings that the practice has become known for. The much loved and eclectic Sir John Soane’s Museum is a perfect backdrop to this exhibition, exploring the relationship between ideas and artefacts, history and the imagination. An accompanying lecture takes place next week at the LSE.
